Helping Lerer Hippeau connect portfolio companies with top-tier talent

This week, I’m excited to announce that I have joined Lerer Hippeau as its first Senior Talent Manager. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside founders in Lerer Hippeau’s portfolio as they recruit the right talent to take their companies to the next level.

As a San Francisco native and University of San Francisco grad, I started my career focused on finding great people and building the best teams for businesses. My years of operational and recruiting experience at Airbnb, Twilio, First Round Capital, and most recently Andreessen Horowitz, where I was a Talent Partner, exposed me to what founders are looking for from a talent perspective and how essential it is to have the right people onboard to help companies reach their next steps and milestones.

After spending most of my career in San Francisco, I moved to New York a little over a year ago to further dive into its tech ecosystem as part of Andreessen Horowitz’s New York office. I’ve seen first-hand the strength of New York’s startup scene as exciting new companies choose to headquarter operations here. New York is strong in terms of the diversity of people and industries which fuel its growing tech ecosystem. It offers a deep, unparalleled talent pool with wide-ranging experiences that can strengthen any company, be it entreprise, consumer, emerging technology, and more.

I’m looking forward to further tapping into the New York tech scene to find the best talent for Lerer Hippeau’s portfolio companies. In my new role, I’ll manage Lerer Hippeau’s reverse job board, the TalentTracker. It’s a one-of-a-kind resource for anyone looking to discover roles at fast-growing companies in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, and elsewhere around the country. Who’s currently hiring? Companies such as Buzzfeed, Oscar Health, Glossier, Warby Parker, and more are actively looking for candidates through our new jobs board.

I’ll also be responsible for identifying high potential candidates for our portfolio companies, building a robust network of executive-level talent across all functions here in New York, and consulting founders on recruiting and talent processes, be it applicant tracking systems, structured hiring, and job architecture.

I can’t wait to meet all the founders in Lerer Hippeau’s network and continue to find and connect the best talent with the most exciting startups here in New York and on the west coast.
